My car obsession started with the (depending on who you talk to) largely forgotten MG sports & saloon car make popularized in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. A 1958 MGA I restored became the way I met friends, and had great experiences; it never fails to take my breath away on a mountain drive- not least because sometimes the body roll in a tight downhill corner is extremely bottom-tightening. 

The MGA has led me to restore, drive, and generally think about numerous classic cars from all makes and eras. I wanted a place where other enthusiasts could come and share in these and others’ classic car experiences. Driving old cars, talking about the unique ones, sharing and recounting events or shows – an inclusive old car experience that people can share in. That’s how I Like Old Cars was born, it does what it says on the tin… I like old cars, and I know other people do too.
